BB guns sparks large police presence in Lincoln

LINCOLN, Neb. – A large police presence in the area of 26th and Vine streets was sparked by a man with a realistic looking BB gun, police said.

The call came in around 1 p.m. Wednesday, and a 1011 reporter on scene said roughly a dozen police vehicles were in the area.

Lincoln Police said that upon investigation, a man with a “realistic looking BB gun” was located.

The 1011 reporter on scene saw a male being escorted to an ambulance by police, but extent of injuries or what led up to the incident is not known.
