Cost of recent hurricanes

Hurricanes Harvey, Irma, and Maria have left devastation in their wakes, racking up more than $100 billion in damages, according to Moody's Analytics and Enki Research.

Damage in Puerto Rico alone is expected to top $30 billion, nearly one-third of the island's GDP, and it will likely take months to restore electricity.
