LINCOLN, Neb. — Costco, who recently received the go-ahead to build a new location at 14th and Pine Lake, officially filed building permit applications with the city of Lincoln last week.

According to Rich Burton with the city's Building and Safety Department, the 156,246 square-foot facility will cost just north of $8.9 million dollars, and the accompanying 4,000 square-foot gas station and canopy will run about $1.3 million.

The gas station will have 8 pumps.

The permits will be reviewed over the next few weeks to make sure the plans meet all city codes.

From there, the builder will be notified if any changes need to be made. If not, the builder can pick up the permit and begin construction.
