OMAHA, Neb. (AP) -- Damaging winds and hail in Omaha and surrounding areas during the month of June have racked up big bills for insurance companies exceeding 400 million dollars.
According to State Farm, the state's largest insurer, clients have filed well over 6,000 claims for hail damage to cars and nearly 4,000 claims for hail damage to houses.
Other estimates include over 400 claims for wind damage to cars and over 2,000 to homes.
In total, that's about 13,000 claims from both storms.
