The Lincoln County Sheriffs Office says they've received multiple calls about door to door scammers approaching houses in towns like Hershey and Sutherland.
Chief Deputy Roland Kramer, says the most common scam happening now is people trying to sell sealant for your driveway.
He says the scammers will only do half the work then take off with your money. Kramer says if someone does come to your door, ask them to show you a sales permit.
"We want the citizens to ask them if they have a peddlers permit, if they cant produce one I wouldn't deal with them, I would just shut the door and you can call us, we would certainly want to investigate that," said Kramer.
Kramer says they have also received calls of scammers trying to sell meat.
