Drug suspect tries to shoot up in police parking lot

GRAND ISLAND, Neb. (KSNB) A suspect didn't even make it out of the police parking lot before he was arrested again for drug possession.

Grand Island police say Cooper Cook was released from jail Monday night around 8:30. While monitoring security cameras in the public safety parking lot, police say Cook try to inject a syringe full of heroin.

Police then arrested Cook for possession of a controlled substance and put him back in the Hall county jail.
