LINCOLN, Neb. (KOLN) -- Traffic is moving again, after a fire just west of Lincoln forced the westbound lane of I-80 to close.
Reports of heavy black smoke and traffic at a standstill were followed by the notification from the Nebraska State Patrol Saturday morning, via Twitter.
If you are traveling in the area, State Patrol says traffic should divert to Highway 34 at exit 395 or to Highway 6 at exit 397.
According to the Nebraska Department of Roads, the closure involved an accident four miles west of Lincoln, near exit 392.
A semi is believed to have caught on fire, but the cause is unknown.
