GRAND ISLAND, Neb. (KSNB) Police arrested four men after a weekend drive-by shooting in Grand Island, but all four have since been released due to insufficient evidence to file charges.

Police say an empty car was fired on early Saturday morning on West First street. They later stopped a vehicle which had four men, each of whom had gunshot residue on their person. Police also found shell casings which matched the bullets fired at the car.

Police arrested Jordan Rivas, 20; Matthew Fernandez, 30; Abner Dominguez, 18; and Wilmer Mendoza, 26; all of Grand Island, but the Hall County Attorney's Office confirmed all have been released with no charges, but the investigation into the incident remains ongoing and charges could be filed later.

Police say the owners of the vehicle had just recently moved into the neighborhood. They also told police that they don't know why they would be a target.
