France Hostage Crisis comes to an end

FRANCE A hostage crisis in a church in France ends with one priest dead and another hostage battling for their life.

A priest had his throat cut and did not survive the attack.

The assailants of the hostage crisis were shot and killed by police. CBS News reports a police source said the men were armed with knives. According to a French publication, the two hostage-takers entered the church through the back as a service was ongoing.

French officials say the identities of the attackers and motives of the attack are still unclear.

The incident comes as France is under high alert.
