LINCOLN, Neb. – Extremely chilly weather is in store for the days after the holiday, as temperatures will struggle to make it over 10 degrees.
The anticipated high for Tuesday is 9 degrees, with temps dipping as low as -7.
Winds will hover around 5-10 miles per hour, but the chances of precipitation are very low.
As the week progresses, the temps could get even colder before making a climb.
Wednesday morning could see temperatures as low as -10 degrees, but come Thursday, highs could push into the mid-20’s before dropping yet again during New Year’s Weekend.
