From music to the science lab, plenty events going on in Lincoln

LINCOLN, Neb. - From music to the tennis court, there are plenty of events happening in Lincoln over the weekend.

Here's a look at a lineup from the Lincoln Convention and Visitors Bureau in your Friday Fast Facts.

Lincoln Exposed
Downtown venues are going to be taken over with music ranging from folk to punk rock and much more. This event is at The Zoo Bar, Duffy's Tavern, The Bourbon Theatre, Bodega's Alley and 1867 Bar.
When: Friday & Saturday- Various times
Cost: $10 per day, $25 all access pass (all venues are 21+ except The Bourbon Theatre, which is 18+)

Nebraska Builders Home and Garden Show
This tremendous show lets you talk with many businesses under one roof, so you can get your home projects quoted and scheduled. You will want to fall in love with your house all over again.
When: Friday, 1 p.m. to 9 p.m., Saturday, 10 a.m. to 8 p.m., Sunday, 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.
Where: Lancaster Event Center
Cost: $8 adults, Free for children 12 and under, $1 off admission with a non-perishable food item for the Food Bank of Lincoln

Husker Tennis
Action packed is a great way to describe the tennis courts this weekend. Friday night at 5 p.m. the men's team will be taking on North Dakota. Saturday they take on Omaha in the morning at 9:30 a.m. and in the evening at 7 p.m. the team will play UMKC. The women's tennis team has a doubleheader on Saturday against Southern Illinois-Edwardsville at 1 p.m. and North Dakota at 4:30 p.m.

Jersey Boys
Jersey Boys is the true story of how four blue-collar kids become one of the greatest successes in pop music history. It will have you singing along.
When: Friday- 7:30 p.m., Saturday, 2 p.m. & 7:30 p.m.
Where: Lied Center for Performing Arts
Cost: $29- $85 Regular, $27.50- $42.50 UNL Student Only & Youth 18 & under (Recommended for ages 12+)

Investigate: Second Saturday Science Lab
Hands-on activities plus exploration equals lots of family fun. Head in to the science lab at Morrill Hall to investigate, math and music. A great event for the whole family.
When: Saturday- 10 a.m. to noon
Where: Morrill Hall
Cost: $6 adults, $3 youth, free for children 4 and under, and museum members

Into the Woods
It's considered one of the greatest musicals ever written. James Lapine and Stephen Sondheim take everyone's favorite story book characters and bring them together for a timeless, yet relevant theatrical production.
When: Sunday 2 p.m.
Where: The TADA Theatre
Cost: $20
