GERING, Neb. (KNEP) - A Gering High School class has once again made it into the finals of the Samsung Solve for Tomorrow contest.
Gering school officials say a project proposed by teacher Justin Reinmuth, and a prototype built by his engineering students, is one of ten national finalists.
The project is a multi-stage micro-plastics filter, which would help keep small plastic particles from clothing from entering the environment. The proposed filter would be used to filter any grey water exiting a home.
The next step in the competition will be a pitch event expected to take place in April.
