Enjoy a free short stack of pancakes and make a difference in the process.

On Tuesday, February 27, it's the 13th annual National Pancake Day Fundraiser at IHOP restaurants, where they expect to serve more than 5 million pancakes in 12 hours.

In honor of the day, IHOP restaurants will be offering customers a free short stack, from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. And in return, customers are asked to leave a donation of any size.

The goal is to raise $5 million dollars nationwide to benefit Children's Miracle Network Hospitals and other charities dedicated to finding cures and eradicating life-threatening diseases that affect children and families.

All the funds collected in Lincoln and Omaha will go to the Children's Hospital and Medical Center.

Last year, IHOP guests in Nebraska donated more than $6,200 to Children's.

Since the inception of National Pancake Day in 2006, IHOP Restaurants has raised close to $30 million to support charities in the local communities in which they operate.

Participating IHOP locations:
- 4501 N. 27th Street, Lincoln
- 1503 Cornhusker Road, Bellevue
- 7201 S. 84th Street, La Vista
- 12423 W. Center Road, Omaha
- 4707 N. 72nd Street, Omaha
