LINCOLN, Neb. (KOLN) -- Rapper Jay-Z has canceled his concert in Lincoln.

The show was scheduled for December 6, 2017.

Pinnacle Bank Arena's website has a statement from Jay-Z that reads:

"Due to the scale of this production, we cannot get the screens up on time into the building in Nebraska. This tour is too important to me to do it halfway. I have to cancel the show. Same with Fresno..."

Jay-Z is touring for his latest album "4:44" and was set to appear with special guest Vic Mensa.
