Drug store theft suspect says "not guilty."

KEARNEY, Neb. (KSNB) - The man accused of five separate break-ins at Kearney drug stores said he's not guilty.

26-year-old Jal Thong, of Kearney, faces six felony charges.

He was arrested in June for burglary and possession of a controlled substance for a break-in at Medi-Cap pharmacy. He's also charged with three break-ins at Valley pharmacy and one at ABC drug.

The break-ins at Valley pharmacy were reported May 2 and 15, and on June 3. The ABC Drug break-in happened May 19. The Medi-Cap break-in was reported June 25.

In each case, numerous prescription drug pills were stolen.

If convicted on all six counts, Thong could get over 100 years in prison.
