LINCOLN, Neb. (KOLN) -- Lincoln's Fire Union is helping raise awareness for breast cancer this month.

"We want to help raise local Awareness and donate money at the same time to a good cause," said Ron Trouba, President of Lincoln Fire Union.

The fire station will wear pink duty shirts and hats this month but they are also trying something new, pink light bulbs for your house.

"To take it to the next level we now have pink light bulbs to sell," said Trouba.

Last year they raised $5,000, and this year they want to beat that goal.

The donations will go to the origination PINK'D, to help with costs, clothing, wigs, and child care.

You can donate at www.iaff644.org or by calling 402-413-5451.
