Numbers are now in for voter turnout in Tuesday’s primary election.
In Lancaster County, 24.79 percent of voters turned up at the polls yesterday.
Lancaster County Election Commissioner David Shively expected 25 percent voter turnout.
Breaking it down further, 21,259 Republican ballots were cast, and 20,605 democratic ballots were cast.
That is a difference of just 654 ballots.
There were also 4,460 nonpartisan ballots and 233 Libertarian ballots cast.
Those two combined make up 10 percent of the votes yesterday.
