Lance's Journal: Roger's Tool Museum, Sept. 11, 2017

It's no secret at this point, I have an affinity for fellow collectors and boy does Roger Theye have a collector story.

He's now 75 years of age and he's been stockpiling tools since he was 15 years old in Barneston, "Lance, I made the barn in about 2006 and 2007 after I retired from Dempster's, I decided i would have a place to put all of my stuff that I had so I could look at it."

It's instantly obvious that Roger put a lot of work into organizing and labeling this unbelievable collection of tools, "I put six rooms upstairs and there's some downstairs and I've got it divided up in different things that are in there."

This place is chock-full of antiques that could be found in a barn between 1840 and 1940. Rogers proudly explains, "I've got over 55 hundred articles up there."

If you'd like to check it out for yourself, give Roger a call at (402) 696-4351.
