Landlord hospitalized after being bit in the face by tenant's dog

LINCOLN, Neb. - A 58-year-old landlord was transported to a Lincoln hospital after a tenant's dog bit him in the face and leg.

On Friday around 5 p.m, a landlord went to his rental property in the 2200 Block of Orchard Street when the tenant's pit bull mix bit him.

Police said the man sustained significant injuries to his face and leg.

He was transported to the hospital where he was treated.

LPD said animal control is investigating the situation, and the current state of the dog is not known.
