Lincoln officials meet for school security meeting

LINCOLN, Neb. - The Lincoln police chief, Lancaster County sheriff, director of security at Lincoln Public Schools and other city officials are coming together to discuss school security in Lincoln.

The meeting begins at 9 a.m. Monday at the LPS district office. It will run until 10:30 a.m.

Some items on the schedule include: discussions on school resource officers, community learning centers and threat assessment.
