Man assaulted, robbed outside Lincoln Walgreens

LINCOLN, Neb. – A man was assaulted and robbed in Lincoln after he finished shopping at Walgreens on Thursday night.

Police said the 23-year-old victim was walking to his vehicle in the parking lot of the Walgreens near 17th and South streets when two men approached him in the parking lot.

One of the men struck the victim in the face, and the other hit him in the back of the head.

The suspects took the man’s Batman shirt and energy drink that he had just purchased.

The victim suffered minor injuries in the assault.

Police are still searching for suspects, and no arrests have been made.
