LANCASTER COUNTY – A Lincoln man suffered head trauma when a golf cart he was riding on the back of rolled over at a residence in Lancaster County on Tuesday night. He remains in critical condition.

The Lancaster County Sheriff’s Office said around 10 p.m., deputies responded to 6921 W Remington Drive.

LSO said the victim, Tony Young, 41, was standing on the back of a golf cart driven by the owner of the rural home, and when the driver was turning, the cart rolled.

The driver realized that Young was unconscious and called authorities.

Emergency crews arrived on scene, and Young was transported to the hospital, where he remains in stable but critical condition.

LSO said there is evidence alcohol played a factor in the incident.
