Masked men enter home, hit child with gun

LINCOLN, Neb. – Two masked men broke into a woman’s house, entered her bedroom, struck her 5-year-old with a gun, and stole her purse on Monday, police said.

The crime happened on Monday morning around 4:17 a.m.

The 32-year-old victim was sleeping in her residence at 1700 Block of North 29th Street with her 5-year-old when two men entered the home.

According to the victim, the men entered the woman’s bedroom, hit her child in the face with a handgun, and stole the woman’s purse, valued at $50.

The incident is still under investigation.
