LINCOLN, Neb. - The NU president will give an update Thursday morning on the university's ongoing efforts to make cuts and the impact those cuts could have on students.
The University of Nebraska Board of Regents will meet Thursday, Jan. 25 in Lincoln.
The meeting will begin at 8:30 a.m. with an update from Speaker of the Legislature Jim Scheer.
NU President Hank Bounds will also provide an update on the university's budget planning.
In addition, the Board will consider a proposed policy on freedom of expression, the result of months of work by a university-wide group that included input from faculty, staff and students.
The meeting is open to the public.
