Nearly $3K taken in burglary at north Lincoln storage facility

LINCOLN, Neb. — Police said nearly $3,000 worth of items were stolen in a break-in at a storage facility in north Lincoln.

LPD said officers were called to Security Storage at 3201 N 19th St. at 8:30 a.m. on Wednesday.

Police said five units had padlocks removed and items stolen, with the total being valued at about $2,900.

Police are checking the area for surveillance video, and the investigation remains ongoing.
