OGALLALA, Neb.- On a recent visit to Ogallala, Pure Nebraska learned more about the attraction in that Keith County community known as Front Street. Penny Metheny is the executive director for the Ogallala/Keith County Chamber of Commerce. She says Front Street offers a restaurant and a big museum where you can get a feel for the history of the area.
"They also have a Crystal Palace review, which is a bunch of high school students that do a performance in the summertime," Penny said. The show offers piano music, old-fashioned shootouts, and plenty of dancing.
The 2017 season of the Crystal Palace review at the Crystal Palace Theater is quickly coming to an end. The shows will run until August 12th, and they run Wednesday through Saturday, starting at 7:15 p.m.
Penny says there are many other attractions you'll want to check out in Ogallala, such as Boot Hill, the Mansion on the Hill, and the Petrified Wood Gallery.
