Oregon Trail rodeo celebrates "pink" night

HASTINGS, Neb. --- Are you tough enough to wear pink? That is the question that was asked at the Oregon Trail in Hastings.

Those that wore pink of course were showing their support for breast cancer research. Fans and Cowboys both were able to show their support.

The annual rodeo at the Adams County Fairgrounds began Friday night and concludes Sunday with a 5:00 starting time.

With the start of the high school football season and the Nebraska State Fair starting the same day, it was tough for the rodeo to draw the attention it usually gets, but the crowd was excellent on a very pleasant Saturday night.at the Fairgrounds.

The best of the best pro Cowboys go for the championships Sunday including in the saddle bronc riding, known s the most exciting eight seconds in sports.
