Pedestrian hit by car in Lincoln dies from injuries

LINCOLN, Neb. – A 54-year-old Lincoln man, who was hit by a car on January 11, has died from his injuries. Lincoln Police have identified him as Millard Wells.

Wells sustained life-threatening injuries when he was struck by a car on Capitol Parkway west of 27th Street around 6:25 a.m. on Thursday, January 11.

Police report Wells did not use a nearby crosswalk and was struck by a 2011 Honda Civic, driven by a 42-year-old male.
