Police release video of church burglary

LINCOLN, Neb. - Lincoln Police have released surveillance footage of a March 6 burglary at North Pionte Community Church.

The crime occurred at 2224 Fletcher Avenue around 3 a.m.

The suspect, who is described as a male in his early 20's, unsuccessfully attempted to throw a landscaping brick through a window of the church.

He then grabbed a fire extinguisher and broke out a window to gain access.

The suspect stole a laptop and other assorted electronics totaling $2,700.

Roughly $400 worth of damage was caused to the church.
