LINCOLN, Neb. (KOLN) - On Tuesday, Lincoln residents can learn about the improvement project on 33rd between Holdrege and Madison.
The first of four phases starts in two weeks with storm drainage repairs at the intersection of 33rd and Holdrege.
In mid-June, 33rd Street will be closed to traffic between Holdrege and Huntington Avenue for more storm drainage work and pavement repairs.
When that work is done, the city will work on 33rd between Huntington and Madison.
The project is scheduled to wrap up this fall.
If you want to learn more about the project, the open house is from 4:30 p.m. to 6 p.m. at Nebraska Educational Telecommunications on 33rd, just north of Holdrege.
