LINCOLN, Neb. TDP Phase One, LLC (a partnership of WRK, LLC and Chief Industries), announced Friday it has selected Spectra by Comcast Spectacor to provide Venue Management, Food Services & Hospitality and Partnerships to the Railyard. Spectra began operations on Friday, September 1.

“Spectra specializes in creating and executing marketing strategies that generate excitement, as well as new levels of operational excellence, and we look forward to partnering with them at the Railyard,” said Will Scott, who founded WRK, LLC with his brother, Robert Scott, in 2003. “We are eager for Railyard patrons and tenants to experience the unique, unforgettable opportunities that Spectra will help create.”

A fully-owned division of Comcast NBCUniversal, Spectra also provides services to Old Fall Street in Niagara Falls, NY and Xfinity Live! Philadelphia.

According to a news release from Railyard General Manager Brian Krawjewski, "Spectra is expected to elevate the profile of the Railyard and help make it an even more vibrant, unique and exciting venue. The company will generate excitement for its customers by offering diverse event content and innovative marketing, creating new partnerships with locally-sourced suppliers and well-known establishments, and driving revenue through sponsorship sales and activations."

“Spectra’s expertise encompasses all aspects of the live event business to create a seamless experience for its customers and guests,” said Spectra’s Shura Garnett, Divisional Vice President. “We are excited to begin our partnership with the Railyard and look forward to enhancing the space and adding events to the entertainment district.”

Spectra named Krajewski, a seven-year employee, as General Manager of the property. He is relocating to Lincoln from Lowell, MA, where he most recently served the company as Director of Marketing for the Tsongas Center at UMass Lowell and Lowell Memorial Auditorium. Krajewski has also piloted marketing efforts for Spectra at the Santa Ana Star Center in Rio Rancho, NM, and Glens Falls Civic Center in Glens Falls, NY.

The Railyard on Canopy Street is located across the street from the Pinnacle Bank Arena. This venue features 13 restaurants and bars, live entertainment, the Public Market, and The Cube presented by Union Bank & Trust.

A capacity crowd visited the Railyard during Spectra’s first weekend as they attended a live performance from Sheila Greenland Band on Friday night, and watched the Nebraska Cornhuskers defeat Arkansas State on the Union Bank & Trust Cube on Saturday.
