Recognizing election workers

LINCOLN, Neb. (KOLN) -- Tuesday, November 7th, Lancaster County election workers were recognized during a ceremony at 3:30 p.m. The ceremony was held at Christ United Methodist Church, 4530 A Street, Lincoln.

"It's my Patriot duty," said Agnes Masek, Lancaster County Election Board Worker.

Masek has worked in the county elections for 25 years and told 10/11 NOW she does it every year.

On Tuesday, 72 people like Masek were all recognized for their work they have put in for many years.

"It's not easy to do what we do, every election is different, but it's rewarding" said Masek.
