LINCOLN, Neb. – Matt Schulte has won the Republican nomination for Lancaster County Treasurer in the Nebraska primary election, defeating incumbent Andy Stebbing and Allen Simpson.

Schulte will face Democratic candidate Rachel Garver, who defeated Andrew Stock in Tuesday's primary, in the general election in November.

Incumbent Lancaster County Treasurer Andy Stebbing did not get an endorsement from the Republican Party because he's facing five felony charges.
