LINCOLN, Neb. -- New Husker head football coach Scott Frost apparel has hit the shelves in stores across the city, but employees said it isn't lasting long.
Husker Headquarters has four locations across the city.
"I think all of us around the state have a whole renewed energy and excitement, I mean I can't even wait for the Spring game and I haven't been to the Spring game in a couple years," said Trent Wagner, customer.
Marketing Director Blaine Braziel said they got their first batch of apparel for the new coach on Monday.
Gear includes two red t-shirts, a black t-shirt, and a red hooded sweatshirt.
Customers who came into the store Tuesday went directly to the table with Frost gear.
"I'm going to Arizona in a few days and I have family down there and they're interested in supporting Nebraska, and [I’m] just getting some apparel to take with me,” said Roni Norman, customer.
Other customers who came into the shop later Tuesday afternoon left empty handed because there weren’t any shirts left in their sizes.
The store is expecting more designs to come in this week
