LINCOLN, Neb. – Well, it might be a white Christmas after all, or at least Christmas Eve.
After some light flurries early Saturday, more snow is expected Saturday night into early Sunday morning, 10/11 NOW Meteorologist John Walsh said.
Walsh said the system is on track to reach Lincoln by about 8 p.m. Saturday.
Most of Lincoln and the surrounding areas are expected to get somewhere between 1-3 inches by Sunday morning, but some small pockets in the system could drop closer to 4 inches on a few areas, Walsh said.
Winds are expected to stay between 5-10 mph throughout the night.
More light snowfall is possible on Christmas and a couple days later in the week, but that could change.
