LINCOLN, Neb. – Some families in Lincoln received a nice surprise thanks in part to Spectrum’s donation.

Safe and Healthy Home Kits were donated to Community Action Partnership to help out Lincoln families in need.

The kits will go to families in the Emergency Services Program as well as the Supportive Housing Program run by Community Action.

The kits will include a weather radio, materials like caulking to help home efficiency, a first aid kit and cleaning supplies.

Heather Loughman, a Communications and Development Director for Community Action Partnership, said these items are needed for the families they serve.

“Spectrum was very generous to bring us these kits,” she said.

The families receiving the kits did not know about it. Community Action is grateful for the donation of the kits.
