LINCOLN, Neb. -- 21st Annual Capital City Ribfest
The 21st Annual Capital City Ribfest is Thursday, August 17 through Saturday, August 19.
Ribfest is in the Pinnacle Bank Arena Festival Space in downtown Lincoln.
This year, there are 7 participating rib vendors.
Ribfest is open from 11:00 AM to 10:00 PM on Thursday and 11:00 AM to 11:30 PM on Saturday and Sunday.
Admission to Ribfest is $5 for adults and free for kids. People with tickets to the events Friday and Saturday at Pinnacle Bank Arena will get into Ribfest for free.

Kendrick Lamar's THE DAMN. TOUR
Recording artist Kendrick Lamar will be at Pinnacle Bank Arena on Friday, August 18.
Doors to Pinnacle Bank Arena open at 6:00 PM. The show starts at 7:30 PM.
At last check, tickets were still available starting at $36.50 at the PBA Ticket Office or on ticketmaster.

Crawford vs. Indongo
On Saturday, August 19, Pinnacle Bank Arena is hosting Battle for the Belts with Terence "Bud" Crawford vs. Julius Indongo.
The event starts at 5:30 PM.
The boxing match will air live on ESPN starting at 9:00 PM.

Frog Fest 5
Frog Fest 5 in Crete is coming up on Saturday, August 19.
The country music show is at Bluestem Tree Farm and Vineyard.
The parking lot will open at 3:00 PM. Music starts at 4:00 PM.
In addition to the music, there will be vendors, food, drinks and fireworks.

Cornhusker Marching Band Exhibition Performance
Friday, August 18 is the Cornhusker Marching Band Exhibition Performance at 7:00 PM.
Head to Memorial Stadium to check out some of the highlights of what the marching band has been working on during the pre-season.
The event is free and open to the public.
Gates open at 6:00 PM.

Dog Days of Summer
Saturday, August 19 is the Dog Days of Summer at Zipline Brewery.
The family-friendly event is raising money and awareness for the Lincoln Dog Runs Campaign.
Dog Days of Summer is from 4:00 to 7:00 PM.
Bring out your dog, enjoy free hotdogs, and a free pint of beer if you donate $5 or more.

Dog Splash
Sunday, August 20 is an annual favorite in the Star City -- the Dog Splash at Star City Shores.
The Dog Splash is hosted by the Greater Lincoln Obedience Club.
It's from 6:30 to 8:30 PM
Admission is $10 per dog.
