Stolen trailer recovered, $1,800 worth of tools taken

LINCOLN, Neb. - A Lincoln man is out $1,800 worth of tools after his trailer was stolen from in front of his home on Tuesday.

Police said a 24-year-old man reported his trailer full of tools was stolen from the 1300 Block of N 102nd Street.

The trailer was found 14 blocks from the home near Karlee Drive and Holdrege Street. Police said it appeared the trailer detached from the vehicle the suspect used to steal it.

The suspect then took the tools from the trailer and left the scene.

A total of $1,800 worth of tools were taken, and $2,000 in damage was caused to the trailer.
