Suspect leaps from second-story window, found hiding behind dumpster

LINCOLN, Neb. - A K9 unit helped police capture a wanted man who jumped from the second-story window of a Lincoln motel Thursday morning.

Lincoln Police responded to the Luxury Inn & Suites at 1 a.m. on Thursday on reports of a man violating a protection order.

When police knocked on the room door, Ryan Taylor, 30, of Lincoln, leaped from the window in an attempt to flee.

An officer and a K9 unit began searching for Taylor, and found him hiding behind a dumpster near the Luxury Inn & Suites.

Taylor was lodged and cited for a felony protection order violation.
