Suspects wanted in bizarre home invasion

HASTINGS, Neb. (KSNB) - A Hastings couple got a scary wake-up call early Sunday morning.

Hastings Police said the couple reported that two suspects kicked in a back door, went upstairs to their bedroom and woke them by pointing a rifle.

The couple said the men forced them downstairs and stole money, jewelry and other property.

The incident happened around 2:00 a.m. Sunday in the 700 block of east Second Street. Police said one of the intruders returned to the house a little later, but the homeowner scared him off with a shotgun.

Police describe the suspects as two black males, both wearing hoodies and between 5' 6" and 5' 10" in height.
