Second teenager dies from Howard County accident injuries

HOWARD COUNTY, Neb. - A March 1st car crash near St. Paul has claimed another life.

Centura school officials Monday confirmed to Local 4 that Navi Nielsen, 17, had died of injuries received in the accident.

It was a one-vehicle roll-over accident which happened late that night on a gravel road about five miles east of St. Paul. Nielsen was a passenger in the vehicle driven by Bailey Jean Packer, 16, who was also killed in the accident. At the time both teens were ejected from the vehicle. Seat belts were not in use.

Neilsen was taken first to CHI-Good Samaritan hospital in Kearney but was later transferred to an Omaha hospital.
