The boys escaped Friday afternoon and were last seen south bound from West 24th Street and 30th Avenue in a newer model silver Pontiac Grand Prix.

The Buffalo county sheriff's office said investigators believed the pair were no longer in the Kearney area. But the state patrol told NBC Nebraska they were still missing.

One male is described as white with dark skin, 5 feet 10 inches, 200 pounds and black hair.

The other guy is another race, 5 feet 8 inches, 140 pounds and brown hair.
