Unruly passenger forces unscheduled Omaha stop for Southwest flight

OMAHA, Neb. (WOWT) -- A Southwest Airlines flight from St. Louis to Seattle was diverted to Omaha's Eppley Airfield Sunday afternoon due to an unruly passenger on board.

Flight 4011 made its unscheduled stop at Eppley shortly after 3 p.m.

Airport officials confirm that there was a verbal disturbance on board involving a male passenger.

Officers were called to the airport where the man was removed from the plane and taken into police custody for questioning.
