Victim claims vehicle approached him, passenger pulled handgun

LINCOLN, Neb. – Lincoln Police are investigating after a man said four suspects pulled up next to him in a vehicle and the passenger pulled a handgun.

On Jan. 1, just before 9 p.m., the 24-year-old victim told police he was walking westbound on 33rd and J streets when a vehicle with four occupants approached him.

The victim said he could hear them yelling obscenities at him, and a short time later, the front passenger pointed a handgun at him.

The victim ran from the vehicle, hid, and called police.

He described the passenger as a male in his 20s with a white mask over his face. The driver was described as a male in his 20s with a black mask over his face.

Police are still searching for the suspects.
