SCOTTSBLUFF, Neb. (KNEP) - A grand-prize winning Nebraska Lottery scratcher ticket has been sold in Scottsbluff.
Lottery officials confirm to NBC Nebraska that they have been contacted by a lottery player who has a ticket that will net the Scottsbluff resident a 2017 Ford F-150 pickup truck.
A special celebration is planned for this Wednesday, starting at 4 p.m. at Main Street Market with the public invited to take part. Lottery officials and store representatives will be present when the winner, who has yet to be identified, will be handed the keys near the end of the even around 5:45 p.m..
It will be the 4th of seven new grand-prize pickups claimed during the game. The truck prize is valued at $53,500, which includes $1,289 for costs associated with ownership and state and federal withholding paid by the Nebraska Lottery of $2,675 and $13,375, respectively. Odds of winning the top prize in the scratcher game are 1 in 300,000.
