2-A-Days: Lincoln East

By  |

After being bit by the injury bug in 2015, Lincoln East heads into this fall very optimistic after seeing a number of underclassmen take the field last year.

The Spartans had 10 players miss significant playing time last fall who would have started. This fall East returns 8 starters on offense and 7 on defense.

Carson Walters enters his second year as East's starting QB after leading the Spartans in rushing last fall. Walters will have one of the most highly-touted offensive lineman in the state to run behind in Chris Walker. The 6'6" 270 lb. tackle has Division 1 offers from Ohio and Wyoming.

East opens up the 2016 season against Norfolk.
