BDS claims Class D2 state title

LINCOLN, Neb. -- BDS defeated Blue Hill, 58-23, Monday afternoon to win the Class D2 state championship.

The Eagles jumped out to a 24-0 lead after the first quarter and didn't look back as the program claimed its second state title in the last three years.

John Christensen and Thomas Mick combined to rush for 349 yards and seven touchdowns in the win for BDS.
