LINCOLN, Neb. -- Nebraska sophomore I-Back Tre Bryant is dealing with an ongoing knee injury and his status is uncertain for Saturday's game against Northern Illinois.
Head coach Mike Riley said the staff will monitor Bryant's progress throughout the week of practice. He is day-to-day.
If Bryant can't play Saturday, Mikale Wilbon would be the lead back for the Big Red. Riley also expects true freshman Jaylin Bradley to make his debut against Northern Illinois.
Junior I-Back Devine Ozigbo, who entered the season with the most experience at the position, has yet to play a snap in 2017.
