LINCOLN, Neb. -- Lincoln High's Trevor Toof and Lincoln Southwest's Jakob Ahlschwede share a bond that goes beyond the football field.

Toof and Ahlschwede are long-time friends who live across the street from one another. They will meet as opponents this week when Lincoln High takes on Lincoln Southwest.

Toof is a linebacker and offensive lineman for the undefeated Links while Ahlschwede is LSW's starting quarterback.

Lincoln High and Lincoln Southwest are scheduled to play for the City Championship Friday afternoon at Seacrest Field. Kickoff is set for 4:30 p.m.
