LINCOLN, Neb. – New Nebraska Head Coach Scott Frost has named seven coaches to his staff. More will be announced at a later date.

Greg Austin will join the Huskers to coach the offensive line, while Erik Chinander will be the squad’s defensive coordinator.

Mike Dawson will coach the defensive line, Jovan Dewitt will coach outside linebackers and special teams, and Ryan Held will coach the running backs.

Travis Fisher, who will coach defensive backs, and quarterback’s coach Mario Verduzco round out the list.

Frost, who was announced as Huskers’ 30th head coach on Saturday, comes to Nebraska after two highly successful seasons as the head coach at UCF, where he guided the Golden Knights to a perfect 12-0 season in 2017, and an 18-7 record in two seasons in Orlando.

All seven coaches were with Frost at UCF.

Like Frost, Held and Austin are both former Nebraska players.
